- Political operative Mary Matalin's response to hearing the sound of a crying baby at a press conference last week, according to the Associated Press. She and husband James Carville served as co-chairs of New Orleans' Super Bowl host committee and were featured in a pre-game day profile by the AP. The duo moved to New Orleans from Washington in 2008. "We just came down here [to look for a house] in late 2007 and said we're just going to do this and never looked back," Carville explained. Not being headquartered in Washington also played a role, Carville told Politico last week, in CNN's decision not to renew the couple's contracts with the network.
