The White House strategy for growing their social media following is hard to beat. For this year's State of the Union, a few lucky social media followers will be invited to watch the president's speech from the White House.

The contest, open only to the White House's active followers on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Pinterest, also includes a panel discussion with administration officials. The White House is calling it a "social" but it sounds like it will double as a focus group.

The contest closes at 6 p.m. tonight and does not include travel costs to Washington, D.C.
