Just another day in the "most transparent administration in history."

White House reporters were kept in the dark on Thursday as President Obama had lunch with former Secretary of State (and potential 2016 Democratic presidential contender) Hillary Clinton.

The lunch came to light after People magazine tweeted a picture of Washington bureau chief Sandra Sobieraj Westfall chatting with Clinton "before her mtg at the White House." The tweet was deleted, and later reposted to change "mtg" to "lunch."

After CQ Roll Call White House reporter Steven Dennis lodged a complaint, a White House official confirmed on background that "the President enjoyed an informal, private lunch with Secretary Clinton at the White House this afternoon."

No word on whether Clinton was able to catch the summit on concussions during her visit.
