White House: War games in Poland intended as a show of force

White House press secretary Jay Carney said war games the U.S. and Poland began Tuesday are a show of united NATO force against the Russian incursion into Ukraine's Crimean peninsula. Even though the U.S. says joint air drills and naval exercises in the Black Sea were scheduled before the crisis in Crimea, Carney said they send a message to Russia that the U.S. and its allies oppose its actions.
