District police arrested 23-year-old Tiesha Stewart following a stabbing in Northeast early Saturday morning, according to the police.

Stewart, of Southeast, allegedly stabbed an adult male at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday on the 4200 block of East Capitol Street Northeast. The man's injuries were not life-threatening, said Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman.

Police are still investigating the motive behind the attack.
