A man was stabbed to death in Northeast D.C., police said, and a woman has been charged with his murder.

About 6:35 p.m. Thursday, police went to the 300 block of Bryant Street NE and found 49-year-old Paul Lawrence Morris, of Northeast D.C., with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital and was pronounced dead, police spokesman Officer Araz Alali said.

Police were able to locate and arrest the suspect, Alali said. Quindetta Cosby, 49, of Northeast D.C., was charged with second-degree murder while armed.

The stabbing was a domestic situation. Alali said he did not know the exact relationship between the suspect and the victim.
