Woman sexually assaulted in Northwest D.C.

D.C. police are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a women after offering to help her hail a cab.

Between midnight and 1 a.m. on Saturday, a man offered the female victim help find a taxi. The man then led her to an area near 19th Street and I Street NW, where he sexually assaulted her.

Police described the suspect as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds. He had short hair, was clean shaven, and wore a red sweater with a hood and white shoes.
