Woman's body found in Rock Creek

The body of a woman was found near Rock Creek Parkway early Saturday morning, according to D.C. police.

An unidentified citizen called police after finding the woman underneath the Massachussetts Avenue bridge near the Islamic Center before 7 a.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have not released information on how the woman has died or who she is, or whether her death is suspicious.
