Metro riders will see delays this weekend on the Orange, Blue and Red lines because of track work that includes two sets of shutdowns.

Yellow and Green line riders are spared, though.

The transit agency will be shutting down parts of both the Orange and Blue lines, starting at the shared station of Stadium-Armory then running east. Look for trains to share a single track in two spots on the Red Line, as well.

As usual, the work begins at 10 p.m. Friday and runs through Sunday.

ORANGE LINE: The line will be closed from Stadium-Armory to the eastern end at New Carrollton, with five stations closed. Free shuttle buses will ferry riders between the closed stations ?-- New Carrollton, Landover, Cheverly, Deanwood, Minnesota Avenue -- and Stadium-Armory.

BLUE LINE: Train service will be shut down from Stadium-Armory to Benning Road, with free buses running between the two stations.

RED LINE: Trains will be sharing a single track in either direction between Judiciary Square

and Rhode Island Avenue and also between Medical Center and Grosvenor.
