Anne Arundel police still are searching for a connection between the death of the state?s key witness in a drive-by shooting and his pending testimony.

“We don?t have an established motive, but we are aware of the connection between the victim [Dontay Williams] and his part as a witness to another murder case [Lamal Wise?s case] and are looking into that and all the leads we have,” said Sgt. Sara Schriver, police spokeswoman, on Thursday.
