Workshop offered to aspiring Nebraska innkeepers

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — A bed-and-breakfast trade group is offering a workshop for aspiring Nebraska innkeepers.

The workshop hosted by the Nebraska Association of Bed and Breakfast Hosts is scheduled for Oct. 22 and 23 in Scottsbluff.

Sessions will introduce prospective innkeepers to the basics of running a bed and breakfast, including ways to market their business.

The event will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Oct. 22 at the Barn Anew Bed and Breakfast in Scottsbluff. On Oct. 23, innkeepers will get an update on a new strategic plan designed to bolster tourism.
