On Tuesday, Randy Moss declared himself the greatest receiver of all time. Yes, ahead of Jerry Rice, upon whom everyone else would bestow that title. Unlike Moss, appearing in his first Super Bowl, Rice did it in the NFL's biggest game.

Steve Young certainly was thankful to have Rice around to provide him with his biggest victory. Rice caught 10 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-26 win over San Diego.
4. Ricky Sanders, Washington, Super Bowl 22 »
While Doug Williams deserved MVP honors for his unreal second quarter, Sanders deserves credit for helping turn the game around. Trailing Denver 10-0, Sanders caught touchdown passes of 50 and 80 yards, respectively. Sanders finished with nine catches for 193 yards and two scores in the 42-10 win.
3. Jerry Rice, San Francisco, Super Bowl 24 » Rice certainly took advantage of playing with great quarterbacks. Then again, he helped make them look special as well. In a 55-10 win over Denver, Rice caught seven passes for 148 yards and three touchdowns.
2. Santonio Holmes, Pittsburgh, Super Bowl 43 » He put up the numbers with nine catches for 131 yards and a touchdown. But others have posted similar or better stats. However, few have made a more clutch reception in Super Bowl history with his last-minute cleat-scraping catch vs. Arizona. Thanks to this play, Holmes is one of three receivers ever to earn game MVP honors.
1. Jerry Rice, San Francisco, Super Bowl 23 » Teammate John Taylor caught the winning touchdown pass from Joe Montana in the final minute. But it was Rice who delivered all game with 11 catches for 215 yards and a touchdown -- and a Super Bowl MVP trophy.
