CODY, Wyo. (AP) — The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has trapped and relocated two grizzly bears over three days.

An adult female grizzly that had been hanging around a guest house west of Dubois was captured on Friday after it damaged an outbuilding that had stored horse grain. The bear was released in the Fishhawk Creek drainage, about 46 miles west of Cody.

On Sunday, a female grizzly was captured for killing cattle on a ranch in the South Fork of the Shoshone River drainage southwest of Cody. That bear was moved to the Arizona Creek drainage in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, four miles south of Yellowstone National Park.

Both bears were moved to areas that are currently occupied by grizzlies.
