This morning, NBC News/Marist/Wall Street Journal has a new poll out showing President Obama crushing Mitt Romney in Ohio, 51 percent to 43 percent among likely voters. But they also released polls showing much closer races in Virginia and Florida where Obama is up only 48 to 46 and 47 to 46 respectively. So while Ohio may be a lost cause for Romney, he is still very competitive in other swing states.

But can Romney get to 270 without Ohio? Absolutely. And its not even that hard. Here is just one scenario below:

If Paul Ryan can make Wisconsin competitive, and the last NBC News/Marist/Wall Street Journal had Obama up only 5, and Romney can win Iowa and Colorado, then he does not need Ohio.
