Pollster John Zogby says in our weekly White House report card that President Obama seems to getting his groove on.

"After last week's F, something clearly happened. The president took a makeup test and did very well. He invited influential senators to dinner, had lunch with House budget chief Rep. Paul Ryan, had frank and honest discussions, gave praise and won praise from those present. A new attitude from both sides and the public likes it. Another plus: Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul filibustered on the question of authorizing drones to kill Americans on American soil, and actually got a response. Obama also got his Cabinet picks approved and won some good news with greater job creation. Sometimes giving out an F provides a corrective kick in the pants -- instead of ruining a student's self-esteem. Continue studying hard, Barack, and try to get along with the other children."

This week's grade: B.
