Pollster John Zogby reports in our weekly White House report card that President Obama should get extra credit for slowly, thoughtfully, developing a strategy in Syria — and wearing a tan suit in his press briefing.

"The president admits that he is waiting for a strategy from his military advisors on how best to deal with the Islamic State [of Iraq and Syria]. There are no easy solutions here and it is wiser to wait to get it right.

“Evidence is clear that Russian troops are engaged in fighting in Ukraine, just as evidence also shows that new sanctions are indeed hitting President [Vladimir] Putin, his buddies, and the Russian economy.

“More states are expanding health insurance availability under Medicaid, a provision of the Affordable Care Act.

“And Mr. Obama gets a whole letter upgrade for wearing a bold beige suit to a news conference. Looked great."
