If you’re following the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, by now you’ve heard about Daniel Hernandez (pictured right in photo), a Giffords intern who is being widely credited with saving her life.

A new Facebook group is asking President Obama to invite Hernandez to attend the State of the Union, tentatively set for later this month. As of this evening, about 319 people had joined.
