Jockeying for pole position in 2028 has already begun as Democratic hopefuls have crisscrossed the country ostensibly to campaign for the 2026 midterm elections while building up their national profiles.
Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA), both progressive stalwarts, raked in millions of dollars and are sitting on well over $15 million in cash on hand.
