Firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan set for December

The execution by firing squad of 2009 Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will take place Dec. 3, acting Army Secretary Adam Telle announced Tuesday.

The sentence will be carried out at Fort Hood at 2 p.m. EST, according to Telle’s memo.
