Trump voices support for anti-weaponization fund in rant against Cornyn

President Donald Trump on Friday argued in favor of the anti-weaponization fund that his administration previously said was dead, as Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) continues to hold up acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s nomination over concerns about the fund.

“Perhaps there has never been a group of people treated so badly in our Nation’s history,” Trump said on Truth Social, referencing those he believes were treated unfairly by the Biden administration. “They are suffering still, many ruined, and I felt that they should be given compensation for what has been done to them.”
