Trump says tech CEOs signed ‘morally binding’ document to self-regulate artificial intelligence

President Donald Trump told reporters in a rare impromptu press conference outside of the White House that he and technology CEOs signed a “morally binding” agreement to self-regulate artificial intelligence as public fears mount about the technology’s development.

Although Trump conceded that the “White House Accord on Superintelligence: A Joint Commitment on Frontier SI Responsibilities” is not binding, he compared it to a constitution.
