“The definition of insanity,” Albert Einstein allegedly said, “is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” If so, a recent proposal by a sitting member of Congress to release a convicted terrorist is insane for more reasons than one.

“Today I’m calling for the release of Marwan Barghouti from Israeli prison,” Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) announced on Sept. 25. “Palestinians must choose their own leaders,” the California Democrat asserted.
