Republicans don’t need to be ideal, just better than the alternative

Recent revelations about Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin’s moves to prepare the Democratic Party for the midterm elections show that the party is in dire straits. At this point, Republicans can almost sit back and watch the DNC fall to pieces.

The DNC has gone through five chairs in the last 10 years, with the current chairman, Martin, rising to the position shortly after President Donald Trump began his second term. Martin, in particular, has been facing a mounting financial crisis, timid donors, and repeated calls to resign.
