President Donald Trump should sack his friend, U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Tom Barrack. The president deserves advisers who don’t contradict his stated objectives. The nation deserves someone with a fresh approach to one of the more troubled parts of the world.

In an Aug. 21 interview, Barrack said Israel “still occupies the Golan Heights, against the U.N. resolutions, against all of the international order.”
