A U.S. Coast Guard jet with Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin aboard made an emergency landing near Washington, D.C., after pilots reported an engine failure.

According to audio from the cockpit, the pilot of the C-37A aircraft told the control tower, “We just lost our right engine,” and requested an emergency landing, noting that the jet only had 2 and a half hours of fuel left. On the plane, Mullin was joined by 13 other people.
